10/9

Today, I woke up around 10:30am and I get a missed call from Lauren. We discussed last night that we wanted to go paddle boarding today, so she called me to remind me. haha. I then mossy around Dev's house until 12:30, we eat fried rice and then I get ready to go to the beach with Lauren and Glen. I still suck at directions out here, so of course I get a little lost when I drive to their place. :) But get there around 1:00pm and we try to figure out which beach we want to go to for some paddle boarding. Lauren's friend Orlando also wants to go to the beach, but wants to go to sandy's beach, which is in Hawaii Kai. AND sandy's beach is super choppy, not good for paddle boarding, so as we discuss this in Don Quijote we decide that the best thing to do is just go somewhere on Waikiki and be tourists. :D

So, Lauren, Glen and I head out to Waikiki and rent some paddle boards and a kayak for an hour. It was pretty cool, kind of boring just paddling out there because we had to stay in between the buoys BUT the highlight of it all was that we saw a sea turtle swimming around. Glen decides to name him Philbert, I'm still calling him crush because of Finding Nemo. :) But after that we start walking down Waikiki, kind of bar hopping. We go to Barefoot Bar and grab a beer, eat some nachos, a chili cheese dog and a regular hot dog. Yes, we are fatties. We then walk down the Waikiki strip and in front of the apple store there is a memorial for Steve Jobs. It was kind of sad, people wrote messages to him and his families of good wishes/prayers. Gave Lauren the chills a little bit.

After walking for a bit, we got a little hungry again so we went to Kanpai on Ward and yup got more food. We got a ahi caesar salad, kimchee steak and some chicken wings. Plus some fruity drinks, a Strawberry soda and Pina colada with mango. All were yummy, but i feel like a fatty now. I guess Lauren and Glen ate here before and they said that the salad was bigger then my face, so I had to try it.

After dinner we go back to Lauren and Glen's place and chill out, we watch some shows of 2 broke girls, which is actually a pretty funny show. Lauren takes a nap and then I drive back to Dev's house because all of my things are there. I decide to just stay at his place tonight because I'm too lazy to drive back to Kailua and we watch RED with him and his mom. Good chill night for a sunday!
