We had to climb up to get to these stairs,
apparently the ground is usually this high!
When we finally made it up to the top, the waterfall was nothing more then a urinal flushing...or at least looked like that. haha. But it was well worth the hike, I was definitely sweating a good amount by the time we got there. It took us about 30min to finally get up there.
Soo, on the way back, since we were pretty hungry by then, we call up Glen (because he obviously wasn't going to hike with us) and tell him to meet us at Cafe Kaila they've been there before and said it's really good. And apparently it's right by this place called the fun factory that has some video/arcade games. I also call up Dev because he said he would meet us to eat...but of course they decide not to go. haha. For breakfast I get a BLT benedict which was really good, Lauren get's a fritatta of some sort and Glen gets a steak sandwich. We all split a waffle which was really really good.

It felt SOOO good to shower, I know, dirty but happy I finally got too! Lol And we got ready to head out to Gordon Biersh in the Aloha towers. There we met up with one of Glen's co-workers and friends, it was pretty chill I guess one of their friends plays in a band. They were really good too, singing earth wind and fire, beyonce and more. They were getting down. HAha.

After breakfast we were going to go to the beach (Sandy's beach with Dev) I just had to be back in the city by 6pm for training at the shave ice shop. By the time we really figure out if Dev is going to go or not, we decide to just go to the beach in Waikiki, because it was getting late. Plus, Sophie was back in town and she wanted to switch cars. Since she wanted to do that, I figure I better get a car wash and fill up the tank. We go to one of the local car washes and I donate to a church for some people to wash the car. I then fill up the tank and we head to the beach. This was around 2pm or 3pm. We then go in the water for a bit and lay out...

This was kind of cool, there were some people walking across a tight wire
between two trees, it reminded me of my co-worker from back on the Mainland!

My NEW fancy ride!
When we were on the beach, Sophie called and wanted to come meet me to make the car switch...good bye subaru, hello 1991 Honda Accord! haha I walk over to the car while Glen and Lauren chill out on the beach (prob around a 30-45min) I was gone. When I come back Lauren and Glen are ready to get out of the sun and we decide to go grab a bite to eat at Tiki's Grill and Bar, I remember coming here with my Ninja girls the last time I was in Hawaii! haha, such a long time ago. I order the softshell crab po'boy, Lauren gets kobe beef sashimi and Glen gets salt and pepper shrimp. All were actually really good, luckily we ate fast because I had to meet in Waikiki at the shop for more training.

Glen's MaiTai

Lauren's Something Monkey drink, tasted like banana shake

Kobe Beef poke

Soft Shell crab po' boy

Salt and pepper shrimp.

By the time we were done, I thought I had time to go back to their apartment and either shower or freshen up a bit before I went to the shop...didn't really have that much time. HAha. So, I quickly changed, freshened up the make up and went to training. Today's training I had a lot more to do then the day before AND there were a ton more people. I met Aaron's wife Shannon, his 3 kids, his Sisters and their husbands and all their kids, plus Mark and Gina swang by too. So, there were about 20+ of us (more kids) working on the shop. We cleaned (wiped down everything) and made a lot of the sauces. Mostly the concentrate kind that's pretty easy, more ice and ate pizza. :) Mark came and helped us with the cash register (trying to get that down with all the codes is probably going to be the hardest). We then started to shave some ice by the end of the night and everyone got to try out our syrups, my favorite would have to be the Strawberry milk and lilikoi. But we have about 12+ flavors! It was pretty fun to meet Aaron's family (def family owned) and all his kids, neices and nephews...sort of reminded me of Bebe's kids tho cuz they were all running around. :) I was there until around 10pm and finally went back to Lauren and Glen's place because Glen wanted to go out to Gordon Biersh.

Because Gordon Biersche closes at 12am, we weren't sure if we wanted to go out or not. Dev was telling us about one of his friends going to this place called Pearls at Ala Moana mall. He was pretty wishy washy about going out or not, but he was flaking on us all night, so he actually came out and picked us up! Glen rode in the back of the truck, he was pretty excited about that and we dropped off the car around Lauren and Glen's apt then walked to the mall. Let's just say we ended up going to this other night club, were we saw Amanda, Anthony, Paul and some other girls I didn't know, ended up getting korean food at 3am because McD's only had drive through and us staying over Lauren and Glen's house again. Let's just say it was a good night once again in my crazy Hawaii life. I just had to get up and be at training by 12, so I was pretty good to go!
