Today I woke up around 9:30 am and did a couple of loads of laundry. I then finished writing my blog for yesterday and got ready for work. Since I figure I had time to kill after work today, I packed my bag for beach and working out. I get to Waikiki around 11:30am, I had to get gas before I made my way to town. And I met up with Aaron at our lil' shave ice shop in the waikiki shopping plaza. Of course, Melissa in her Sandwich Shop was pretty busy making her sandwiches and of course it smelled really good. :) Since I was craving a sandwich from yesterday (after Mark got one) I decided that I wanted a sandwich for lunch today AND I heard her soups were really good too, so I had to get some soup too hehe Yes, I know, I'm a fatty! :D So, I get a turkey avocado sandwich on whole wheat and have a small portuguese and bean soup. Melissa is soo nice that she just gives it to us. So, we decide to trade a sandwich for shave ice. We only had a couple of customers, but Aaron said that he's going to put an AD in one the hawaiian magazine which will be good for the shop. He also said that one of the guys (ad people) are going to make us flyers and pass them out. Hopefully that will get the business popping! haha...But it was actually kind of nice to not have it be too busy. I was able to start practicing shaving the ice, pouring and all that. It was like he was training me to run the store by myself if I had too. Which I think I could if need be.

I got done around 3:30 so decided to go to the beach while I was waiting for Dev to get off work or I had to pick him up. It was only about 3 blocks away from the shop which is nice to know. I was on the beach for about a hour and a half, just chillin and people watching. It was pretty crowded because it was a nice day, but did start to sprinkle a little bit, so some people started to leave. It was pretty cute though, there was a 1 year old playing with a skateboard and was really good at it on the beach. Apparently he already surfs with his parents, this kid's going to be a beach bum for sure!

After the beach I go back to the shop to pick up my computer and say good-bye to Shannon and Aaron. Then I head out to pick up Dev at his work. I pick him up then we go to his house, where his Mama and brother Brad were home. We had somen salad for dinner then changed and headed out to the gym. BUT before we go to the gym Dev wants to hit golf balls at range again, so we head there first. The only thing is, Dev only had his clubs, which are ALL lefties! haha Soo, I tried hitting them for awhile, it's like starting all over again. HAha. But basically I suck as a leftie, I felt like such a girl. :)

We then headed out to the gym and did abs, arms and I ran for a mile. As I'm sitting here writing my blog, I can already feel the sore-ness setting in. We are chilling tonight watching the Town, then I'm heading home to finish washing my clothes! I forgot I have another load to do...wah..so I should start heading home soon.
