10/14

Today I woke up and had shave ice day....since I stayed at Devs i was actually early to work. When I woke up Uncle Dave was home around 10am and he asked what time I got in, I just said later. :) I then went into town and WOW, today was a good day. We were pretty busy actually, had a steady crowd until 1, when I got lunch. We wanted to get garlic shrimp, so i told Aaron I would walk to get it. Which was about 3 blocks away...or so yelp said. When I kept reading where it was...AND walking in the rain...we had random rainstorms today...i finally read a yelp review which said they moved to international market place, which would have meant it was only 1 block away!! WTH...wow...kind of sad. So, I guess shrimp on another day.

So, I kept walking and saw a Gyu-kaku...whoa..I thought they only had those in pasedena...wrong. I order Aaron and I bento's, me a spicy pork belly and aaron a toro beef. Let me tell you, it took FOREvEr. When I finally get my food, like a half hour later I see Aaron semi-sweating. I guess he had a pretty big rush while I was gone, but he handled it. haha. He was like, that food better be really good for taking so long. Sadly, it was not worth the wait :( Guess we won't be going back to Gyu-Kaku. I stayed at shave ice until about 4ish. Micha' (my-ka) Aaron's son showed up later, I guess he took the bus from school and went straight to the shop.

I was semi stalling because Bo's cousin Kevin had a show tonight at the Willows. I sat in the parking lot for a bit, painted my nails and took a semi nap then headed out to Bo's so we could carpool. On the way I see a rainbow...WOO.

A good amount of people end up going to the willows, Dev, Marci, Brett, Marci's sister, Neil, Dr. Ken, Steffy, her man, Tam, Dan, Shima and I think more. Basically a bunch of people, we order like all the pupus on the menu and enjoy the night with drinks and food. After we go to sorabol and eat some more, it was really funny because Kevin I guess likes to do monkey impersonations, so he was doing their call LoL. Yeah, cheers to the freakin weekend!
