Today is Friday and was the first time that I was going to meet Aaron, Mark's cousin who is opening up Ailana Shave Ice. (the place that I will help open) I met Aaron, his friend Kim and his daughter Eeron. We meet at Ala Moana shopping center, so I can park the car and he picks me up. The shave ice is located in the Waikiki shopping plaza, underneath at the food court. We share a space with this women that owns the Sandwich Shop. Anywho, it was a good place to meet the owner, we built some things (like shelves, carts) and started to fill up the ice buckets to freeze the ice. It was a good way to really feel out who I was going to work with. His daughter Eeron is super sweet and cute. Very talkative and friendly :)

After, since there wasn't that much we could do, I call up Mark to pick me up because he wants to go to this place called Art after Dark. Of course, since I don't know what any of these places are, I go in the clothes taht I've been wearing all day...and WOW...i'm soo under dressed. Haha...it's basically at a art galleria and they have music and drinks for adults. I meet some of his friends, Sonia, Matt, T (all from the mainland). It was pretty cool, just wish Mark warned me that I was going to look like a scrub when I got there. HAha. After Mark wanted to go to Oktoberfest, which is located downtown (close to chinatown). It was basically like 2 or 3 blocks closed off with beer vendors and some food vendors. It honestly was just whatever, not a big fan of Hawaii oktoberfest. Haha. I think it's more for tourists because it didn't seem that many locals were actually there. I was being semi-weak, Mark actually wanted to go out more, but i wanted to go to sleep. So, I called up Lauren and Glen, because they were going to go too, but they decided not to. In the end, I end up passing out on their floor on their mattress topper. :D haha my home for the weekends.
