10/20

I have OFFICIALLY been in Hawaii for 1 month!! Craziness...time seemed to go by REALLY fast...I can't believe it. It's probably cuz' i've been busy with work and all that type of stuff. Well today is Hibachi's day, so I get in around 9:30am to open. Opening is pretty easy, set up the chairs/tables outside, turn on the computer, make sure we are stocked up. It's a pretty easy thing, I usually just bring my computer and work on signs or side projects that people ask me to do while sitting at the cashier. Bad I kno, but at least it also benefits Hibachi. They wanted me to re-do all their signs that go on the coolers. The old ones looked like this:

Original Sign

Made the new signs look like this, but think black & white.

Some crazy alcohol infused whip cream...(weird) that Hibachi's is now selling.
Haven't tried it yet, but it just seems like it wouldn't be that good.

The one that I made was really simple, just kind of added the logo so they would all look the same. After Hibachi's, since Kelcie Wong and her friend Jenya were in town for a wedding, I meet them up in Waikiki at the beach. Kelcie's friend is getting married at the Moana Surfrider Hotel, which is really close to Ailana's shave ice. I meet them at the beach around 4:30pm and it was really nice to finally see some sun! :)

Jenya was doing some crazy yoga moves on the sand.

We don't leave til the sun goes down... or up. :)

We stay on the beach until about sunset, because later we are going to meet up some of Kelcie and Jenya's friends for food and drinks at Dukes. It was a really chill nice with food and all that. Bo later meets up with us too. After Dukes, they want to go to a Irish Pub called O'Neils, but Bo meets up with Komas and Pete (some of his buddies) at Genius. I don't want to stay out too late because we decided to hike Koko Head tomorrow morning, so I run over to Genius to say Hi to Pete and Komas then head back to Kailua. It was such a LONG drive though, they closed the Pali entrance off of H-1, so I had to take H-3. Finally got home though and I was SOO happy to finally sleep with my blanket. HAha..I know I'm such a lil' kid. :)
