Dec. 4, 2011

Today we were going to take Cierra and Hunter to the museum, so we pick them up at around 11:30. We first go to Paul's restaurant to feed them some pho. Hunter doesn't eat much, only egg rolls, but Cierra eats her pho. I also tell Lauren and Glen to meet us and see if they want to go to Bishop Museum with us too. Pho was really good as always, then we head out to the museum for some learning time!

Haha, as always, I think we were more excited then the kids, sorta. :) They had a Mars exhibit where it allows you to see if you want to live on mars. I guess you can say, I do not want to live on mars. haha We then head to the science building for a lava demonstration, which was interesting and got more exciting at the end because they actually melt lava and pour it out to show us. The lady even melted a postcard and gave it to everyone.

If you listen you can hear the lava crackling the lave rocks.

Backwards, but you can see the burnt part of the postcard from the lava demo.

We then walked around the science building for a bit until we had to take the kids back because I had work in Kailua at 4. So, we grab some ice-cream from the snack bar then drop the kids off and I drop Dev off at home too. It's then 4-8 at theHibachi. It wasn't too bad, just semi slow. In t-minus 1 week, I will be back home. So, I guess I better make as much money and hang out and make the most out of my last week in Hawaii before going home for the holidays. :)
